From April 3 to 5, 2024, a training seminar was held on the topic: "Epidemiological safety of non-sterile endoscopic interventions" with invited speaker Tatyana Arkadyevna Grenkova, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Leading Researcher at the Gabrichevsky Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology, Moscow.

The purpose of the seminar: to familiarize students with the skills of organizing and conducting events aimed at ensuring the epidemiological safety of endoscopic interventions.

The training was held for nurses of endoscopic offices and departments, as well as for gastroenterologists, oncologist surgeons, pulmonologists, intensive care anesthesiologists and ENT doctors performing endoscopic examinations, representatives of sanitary and epidemiological services who arrived from the cities of Astana, Karaganda, Kostanay, Zhezkazgan, Aktobe.

The organizers were: Kazakhstan Medical University "HSE", NGO-Medidez LLP and NNOC LLP.

Practical exercises with the translation of the stages of disinfection of endoscopes were conducted on the basis of the Center for Expert endoscopy and interventional radiology of the NNOC.

The duration of the training is 24 academic hours. The number of participants in the training seminar was 42 people.

Upon completion of the training, each participant was given a Certificate of advanced training.
